How we handle your request

Acknowledgement: we confirm receipt at the email address you give us.
Verification: where the request concerns personal data, we may need to verify your identity or authority to act first.
Assessment: we identify which records are affected across client, contributor and research populations.
Response: we respond within the timelines required by applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable NDPC guidance.
Complex requests: where permitted, we may extend the timeline and will tell you why.
Limits: some data cannot be deleted or withdrawn — see the limits described in our Privacy Policy.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the appropriate supervisory authority, including the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
